1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the TowFi mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. TowFi is owned and operated by Belmont General LLC.
2. Description of Service
TowFi is a mobile application that connects users with towing services. TowFi facilitates the connection between customers and independent towing service providers, with secure payment processing through Stripe.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
- You must be at least 18 years old
- One account per user is permitted
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Provide false information
- Interfere with App functionality
- Harass other users or service providers
5. Towing Services
- TowFi connects you with independent towing service providers
- Service providers are independent contractors
- Pricing and service quality are determined by providers
- TowFi is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided
6. Payments
6.1 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted payment platform. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on TowFi servers.
6.2 6-Digit Code Verification
Once your vehicle has been delivered to the destination, you will receive a unique 6-digit payment code. Share this code with your tow provider to release payment directly to them. This ensures payment is only released after service completion.
6.3 TowFi Service Fee
TowFi charges a 20% service fee on the tow service cost. This fee covers:
- Secure payment processing through Stripe
- Platform technology and maintenance
- Customer support services
- Provider network management
Example: For a $100 tow, you'll pay $120 total ($100 tow + $20 TowFi service fee).
6.4 Payment Security
Your payment information is protected by bank-level encryption. TowFi does not store your full credit card details. Payments are only released to providers after you confirm delivery with your 6-digit code.
7. Security and Authentication
TowFi offers optional two-factor authentication (2FA) using Face ID or Touch ID. Biometric data is stored securely on your device only — TowFi does not access, collect, or store your biometric data.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Limitation of Liability
Belmont General LLC is not liable for:
- Actions of third-party towing service providers
- Damages during towing services
- Service delays or unavailability
- Payment processing issues handled by Stripe
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Texas law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
12. Refund and Cancellation Policy
All cancellations and service-related refund requests must be directed to the towing provider. TowFi will process refunds only after the towing provider has confirmed the cancellation or refund.
